I created this web site to help my students find the resources they need for doing homework. Each page in the web site has organized lists of links to many online services.
• Reference Resources: dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, online newspaper and e-zine locators, data bases, citation makers, style sheets, and other libraries or library portals.
• Departments: curricular subject pages for links and research guides created for specific assignments and research projects.
• Activities: free clip art pages, puzzles, downloads for shareware, literature available as E-text documents, news, midi music files, online coloring books, electronic greeting cards, movies, and free services for storing digital photos.
• Resources for Teachers: lesson plans, rubric makers, educational research, e-texts, grade books, puzzle makers, readability calculators and worksheet generators.
• Search Engines: 20 search engines and descriptions of their features for finding web sites, articles, data, persons, businesses, images, and digital media.
The web site for Samuel S. Fels High School and the Student Resources pages in the web site for the School District of Philadelphia also contain links to educational resources.
